just got my renewal fee today. $552!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is how it reads:
registration fee - $30
vehicle license fee - $379
county/district fee - $9
smog abatement fee - $6

park/toll violations - $48 with the date from 7/19/02!!
anyone know what CODE 30325 is????

i have till 11/30/2003 to pay it but its gunna be real tough.

Damn, in VA its 35 bucks a year for plates and 20 for a decal for your windshield. My state taxes per year run about 150 a year.

 

Hmm, I guess I missed out on the fee hike. My registration was $225. It was due in August so I guess everthing after that was bumped up to the new rate.

I'll probably miss it next year too (well hopefully). I'm hoping whoever replaces Gray Davis will repeal the vehicle license hikes.

 

We are lucky here in TX. Only $60 for registration.
