here in Vegas it is taxed to hell and a rip off. It cost me $680 for my 2003 4 runner, and $480 for my 2003 GMC. Been like that since I moved here!

You guys are getting bent over in a bad way. Mine is $55, but inspection costs another $50 or so with the new sniff test in my and surounding counties. So total is around $105 +/- .

Damn I sure was lucky, kinda. My registration was "only" $289, due this month 9/30. I wonder why it was more for some of you other Cali guys?
