Default New 07 VortecMax

So looks like the VortecMax gets the 367HP 6.0L with active fuel managment. Anybody know yet what the MPG will be? Doesn't really make a differance anything will be better than the 15MPG I get now!

Also, I been waiting on getting a new truck and was hoping for the 6.2L! But should I wait another year in the hopes of a 6.2L 6L80 Silverado SS.

I have it by reliable sources that they're won't be a SSS.
(I hate posting that)

Probably cause the Lightning is gone. The V-Max trucks pretty much took the SS Silverado over anyways. They might produce a SS Silverado later in the 07' model year sporting the 6.2L & 6L80-E.

As far as the new body style is concerned.

I havent seen any concepts or mock ups of a NNBS SSS so I dont know if there will be one (just yet anyways) and believe me, I have been looking for it.

What gets me is you can get a VortecMax in a Silverado with the 6.0L. But I bet you can get a Serria Denali with a 6.2L 6L80. Why not make the Chevy VortecMax a 6.2L! It wouldn't add that much to the price of the truck I would think.

It will due to the all aluminum block & heads.
GMC likes to keep their vehicles set apart from the Chevys. The 6.2L is just one of them.
Both trucks are the same to me, but this year, the GMC would get me as a buyer over the Chevy.
