Default Nelson tune arrives today

What are the odds that I'll be able to restrain myself and hold off installing it until this weekend? If for nothing else, it will be nice to be rid of the "SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM" warning since the 4.10's wen't in.

So swapping the PCM looks straightforward. Any tips/tricks to make it go smoother?

EDIT: Found this: SSS Forum Write-Up

I've been getting home pretty late, but if it only takes 10 minutes, I'm all over it.

drive your truck as hard as you can for the first 150 miles. it takes about 150 miles for the truck to "learn" the new tune and you want to drive it like you stole it for those miles.

Plugged in the new PCM last night, and ridnlow was right, it only took about 10 minutes (would have been faster/easier without the lift/33's). No codes or anything so far. I am employing bat-out-of-hell driving tactics at every opportunity up to 150 miles or so, but Houston traffic will keep the speeds down during the commute.

No codes or any problems so far, I'll report back the "feel" after the learning period is done.
