I thought cutting was not a option? hahahaha, you just better order a new ORY and some band clamps. I don't see them coming off with out cutting. Next on the list would be save up for some stainless exhaust

i like this idea , i see how it could work with A precision cut . i will try this to prep for the other work to gain better access to trans lines ,, thanks for the heads up...

Make a single cut, horizontally, so you can spread the outer pipe. You'll probably need a torch to get the metal hot too, help it stretch some. Then when you put it back together you'll clamp it back down(with better clamps hopefully) and then weld the cut closed again. Or buy a new Y-pipe.

if i can get this apart can i use a band clamp where the original clamp was?
