It was a dumb one. I wanted to no if I needed a tool to blow air in the cylinders to hold up the valves, dumb ya I know, I wasn't thinking

No, that is not a "dumb" question, only an inexperienced one. Many of us are not mechanics and learn as we go. Even simple questions/answers are helpful to others as this one was to you.

Yup, I knew ya had to do it on old gen motors, but there a some things you can get away with on these new ones, thought maybe the valves would stay put for some odd reason. I am under way now, so far soo good. Keeping my fingers crossed...

You dont NEED the tool to pressurize the cylinder......

I just did the two TDC cylinders at a time. Then rotate 90* and do two more. repeat, repeat, and done.
