Question Need Info: MOTOR SWAP - 5.3 w/ Harness & ECU into 96 GMC 1500

I have a 96 GMC 1500 with the 5.7 & 4L60E. A buddy of mine has a clean 5.3 with harness & ECU.

What would it take to swap this into the 96? I want the gauges and everything to work as factory.

Thanks guys

^^^This.... and also there are a few other threads going on here right now with the same questions. Read up on those as the swap is quite simple and will be the best decision you could make
