need help figuring out whats wrong

LS1 with stock heads whatever that is
228r
comp 918's
comp 7.4's
160* thermo
ls1 intake
28# injectors
tb bypass
ported and polished tb
pacesetter lt's
magnaflow with built-in x-pipe 2.5 inch pipe
tci 3000
stock tranny with shift kit and servos
4.11's with G80
nelson 93 live street tune
custom intake that i know is hurting me straight out the front of the intake into the fans
tr55's
truck came stock with e-fans
current time in sig.!!!!!!! could this be a problem with the ls1 car intake and not a ls6 or not big enough stall, or combo of both

yea similar mods but a bigger cam!!!! i want to get this converter restalled to a 3800-4000. the track is in monroe, la i dont know the altitude. i think with the right intake and stall i should be in the 12.5x's range or am i expecting too much

I'd guess and say your injectors are not large enough for that setup/cam.
Also you need at least a 3600 stall for that cam.
Also what kind of rpms are you turning on the motor? With that cam i woudn't turn less than 6800 myself.
ls6 intake will help as well of course but i think the biggest problems would be the stall and maybe your running out of fuel uptop with those injectors.

see i think the injectors are running out too but allen nelson told me they were fine when we tuned it live. im turning it 6500 or 6600 i dont remember on both shifts. when it gets to about 5300 you can tell something isnt right its just not pulling like i think it should and i have heard thats where the ls1 intake falls at.

The ls1 and truck intake are not far from each other in terms of flow really. The truck intake will basically peak at about 5800 hold a nice flat line till 6100ish then slowly drop.
Now with that size injectors in comparison to my truck...aka ecsb04 i was at 115%IDC after about 5500rpms. It still made power and air/fuel wasn't horrid but not really good ethier.
Swapped to 42lb injectors and had the truck tuned and man o man did the power come on alot stronger.

If it were my truck i'd trow a larger stall and a ls6 or fast 90/90 setup on it with some larger injectors.
Somthing is wrong for sure though.
I mean hell man i ahve a 6.0 in my truck but it's a ECSB and weighs a little over 5k with me in it. Untuned out of injector and only a 2600stall it went 13.5 several runs back to back.
Never went back with the bigger injectors and good tune...

if your using the 28s from a fbody your probably above the effiecent range, hell beastmode is at 138% with his stockers
need a stall for the ET but your mph is low, ls1 intake isnt the best but will allow you to make power. its only a 15hp difference, thats not enough to make that much of a difference for ya.



whats ur 1/4 mile goal though?
