I've heard that two exhaust exits provide for more scavenging, so I will likely go with Option B. Now I just need to figure out what resonator to put forward of the muffler (the quieter I can make the system, the happier I will be).

BTW, I had a fresh opinion today that my exhaust sounds restricted. So there are three total strikes against the present system: (1) Restrictive, (2) Dented from the driveshaft incident, (3) Sounds like ***.

Time to move forward on this.

You will need the resonater, My Magnaflow came with 2 for my SS. Mine is alittle too loud for me sometimes. Now with the new cam it is even louder. I think that is the muffler in my set up.

This will quiet it down, without killing power.

I have the 22" case and it's pretty quiet.
Are you sure the SS doesn't get the 18" case?

This is why your system is louder:

Light Duty Silverado SS AWD,
6.0L V-8, side exit,
EC/SB, 5x8x18" p-SS muffler,
2.5"/3" SS tubing, 4" slash/p-SS tip

it has the 18" case
