Post Mysterious Part # ??

I have a 2006 chevy silverado with plain black mirror/mirror caps. I have been looking for the white painted OEM mirror caps and have had no luck...AT ALL...And i know that the pn # for the item is 17800657...But everywhere i call says that the pn# for that mirror cap does not exist !! and noone in the country connected to gm has that part number in stock. I know alot of yukons/denali/sierra denalis came with these white mirror caps but noone seems to sell them anymore. its wierd cause all of the surounding pns still exist except for 50U olympic white caps......PLEASE HELP !! any info is appriated thanks

Gentlemen, the GM part number you have listed was indeed at one time an available production item. Now however it has been discontinued and is no longer available from GM.

I ran a Locator on the part number for you and it turned up showing no dealers, zero dealers in the United States. So...no one has this part.

Obviously, the best thing to do is just paint what you have.

i got them painted at a local body shop here in houston only thing that was ordered from factory were my handles it would of been too much of a hassle to sand and smooth them out unlike the mirror caps.
