Default My turn at a dyno and tune...

Well all, I've scheduled my truck for a dyno and tune at a semi local place (www.dtpracing.com) up in Virginia Beach at 0900 on Friday. I have a Wester's PCM, but not sure everything's 100% since the ASM's and TR55's that were installed last week. Sounds like I'm getting some serious predetenation or valve train rattle. Feels like I lost some low end too. It can't hurt to verify everything. Anyways, I want to get some #'s before I move up to the big mods. Anyone care to take a guess at what I may out down?

Maybe I'll even throw the ol' TB spacer in sometime during the tune for S&G's

I thought that Lyndon locked his pcm's so that they can't be modified. If not, good luck. I don't really know what kind of numbers you will put down but it will definitely be more than my truck

Hmmm...this could be a problem. Will have to break out the predator real quick to see... At least I could maybe get some numbers to get another PCM tune.

Thanks for the heads up.

Did your loss start at the time of the ASM install?Maybe an exhaust leak and spark plug not installed correctly.

It started with headers and the iriduim NGKs. i'm not ruling out an exhaust leak, but seems too quiet. Don't see any black crap either. Kinda hard to pinpoint the sound with my noisy *** FIPK. But sounds like valve train rattle from both sides of the engine.

No obvious SOTP gain from a stop, but I guess they're working. I can finally break the tires loose when it downshifts form a 20 mph or so roll. Could be this cold as weather that just rooled in too.

Tried a quick adjust with the edit, as sure as ****, I get a key not found error. Guess I'll give lyndon a call tomorrow. Also noticed a shitload of the non DTC errors on the Predator. Cleared out 8 of them that I thought may have been leftover from running open headers. I immediately check them again and no there's 49 of the bastards. Low coolant temp, O2 banks not responding, a whole list of them. Is there something I'm missing? No SES light at all.

Well I guess I graduated to the big time.

OK, now that I settled down from my mechanical hypochondria, I realize that the DTC I was worrying aobut are ones that haven't been run yet. I feel like such a . I guess that's how we learn though.

Thanks for patience.
