Default My damn horn

horn works when i operate the keyless entry. when i lock the door and confirm with the horn honk it works. when i push the horn on the steering wheel i doesnt work. i changed the realy once. could it be a faulty relay i bought. it worked for like a day or 2 . now it doesnt work again. i need my horn for these crazy people down here.

We were goin ridin 4wheelers Friday and when i passed my buddys house i hit my horn for about 4 second and it just quit... got to the campground and checked my fuses..... it had blown....

Na mine was the 15A Fuse...... but it was under the hood...

mine is a 2000 though... dont know if there is anything different...... you could try swappin some Relays to see if that fixes it.

the fuse was good. i swapped it anyway. still not working.

does it have a relay for the horn??

Check the fuses by the Driver door?

thats what i told the guy at the dealer. and thats what i bought for 13 dollars. i will check the fuses by the door. but i didnt see a horn fuse on the diagram when i opened that panel.

Sometimes the horn pad contacts can get dirty enough to prevent the horn from working when you mash on it. Clean the contacts up and you could be back and blaring. Its happened twice in my truck.
