Ah, put a 3.0" pulley on it and run 7psi.
It may not be the perfect blower to push a 6.0L but, for a mild setup It was fine on my SS. That's one reason I say to stick with a LQ9 and the higher compression.
I only ran a 3.0" pulley on my SS with headers and saw 7.5psi. That took me into the LOW 13s which was pretty nice with AWD.
Just sayin'

OK so I need to find a good used LQ9 with a 4l80E. I think everything should just bolt up to the new block. Right? I know the tranny will bolt up also. Now do I need to reflash the PCM for those two things?

Yes, you will have to have the computer reflashed for that combo. Also, the 4L80E will require some other swap parts to work correctly. There are some write ups on here in the drivetrain section about the 80E swap. If you are 2wd it's a lot easier than 4wd.
Everything from your block should bolt right up to the LQ9.

I'd recommend the LQ4 and I'll tell you why.....it gives you more options on heads while keeping the compression at a level where you can still tow. The 05 up LQ4 will have the same strong internals as the LQ9, simply with dished pistons. You can put some LS6 243 heads on an LQ4 and get about 10.6:1 compression which is right where the L92 sits at I believe. On top of that LQ4's are easier to find and cheaper than 9's. For some reason when I was looking at motors I was dead set on an LQ9 when in reality I probably should have ended up with a lower mile 05+ lQ4

i agree, get an lq4, fi likes lower compression, and keep your cam small, i go with a lingenfelter gt 2-3 or gt7 so you can still tow, and the only other thing i would change would be the converter, i would say a yank tt2600 their website says you wont lose any towing capacity. not to mention that the lq4's are more abundant than the lq9's and usually found cheaper too.

I'll agree with you guys that the LQ4s are more abundant and cheaper. If he doesn't want to mess with heads or anything and just wants to drop the engine in then the LQ9 is a better match for the 112. That slight bump in compression makes a nice difference it seems judging by other setups I've seen around here.

I agree with the LQ9 being a better choice for an MP112. The 112 will be limited on boost with a 6.0, so more compression can make up for some of the boost that you'll be lacking. As XLR8NSS said, you can run a little larger pulley and keep the IAT's under control. The LQ4 may be cheaper and easier to find, but in the long run I think you'll be happier with the LQ9.
