Train 'em while he/she is young. Catch the dog pissing, and slap it on the nose. and teach it some key phrase. "No p p". some **** like that. And immediately take him/her outside.

Once they learn the word no...they usually catch on

--should add. the whole point of taking them outside is to let them understand where it's appropriate to drain the sack.

just watchin out for your carpet

I've always wanted a JRT, just don't have the time or room that they need.

My "puppy" is almost 17 years old and on his last legs...he's still doing okay for an old dog, just losing his hearing and sight. I'm sure gonna miss him when he's gone.

I know what you mean. I had mine from the time I was 4 till I was 17 and was devistated when I found out she'd gone. It's taken me almost 4 years to be ready to have another one. I'm looking right now for a sable and white beagle pup.

That's a Ziegen Bock. Brewed by Anhieser Busch, available only in Texas from what the label and the box says.

Get a small cage, put her in it and as soon as you let her out of it take her
out side. Don't let her in till she goes. Take her to same spot outside everytime.
You could have her trained in two weeks tops.
Don't ever hit a dog in the nose. If you have to correct her use a newspaper
on her ***.
I have had 3 Rotts and a sheperd none have been mean

Yeah, mine used the house quite a bit but I have broke him from that. I called going outside "pee pee" and now when I say that he goes over to the door and is ready to go out. As soon as he gets done doing his thing, I say "get a treat" and he knows where to run to inside to get a treat for using the bathroom. It just takes time, persistance and paitence

This is what I have been doing with her, except for the hot dogs ... My lab was broke in about 2 weeks. This is the most hard headed dog I have EVER seen though.

She understands it's bad, and she knows when it happens she's in trouble, but she still does it.
