Sounds sick! 6-speed auto, 30mpg highway in 2wd configs, etc. etc.

Sounds badass. If they configure it right, IE: a more 1500 HD type suspension for towing, I believe this will be my next truck for the wife. Our 06 1500 Z71 gets the job done with the horse trailer, but something a little beefier would be nice.

To bad we have to wait to 2010! I sure it will only be available in a Crew or ext. cab models only.

I definitely want this to be my next truck hands down. Diesel in a 1500 I've been saying it for years. Genius.

Well by 2010 I'll be ready for another truck probably.

Sounds good though.

They made them in the last decade with 6.5L/6.2L. Noone really went for them. It sounds like a good plan, but I just hope the emissions crap doesn't kill the fuel mileage on the new engine.

Kinda weird how that is, just like 20 years ago hardly anyone got an Extended Cab or Crew but now the vast majority of trucks are Extended cab.

that is very good news to read. I would definatly(sp?) be in line for an extended or crew cab dd in the future. 30 mpg and 520 ft/lbs of torque
