CAN YOU JUST PULL THE MOLDING OFF THE SIDES OF A 02 CHEV. TRUCK

with some adhesive remover yes. there are no studs like in the older trucks if thats what you mean. but don't expect it to be that easy. while its not a difficult job its time consuming and a little annoying.

what i did was get 3M adhesive remover (i got mine from the local paint shop) and slowly work it under the plastic with a PLASTIC putty knife (don't use metal it will scratch the paint). slowly but surely it will come off. just get the rest of the adhesive off and put a good wax/sealer over the area when yur done.

tips - let yur truck sit in the sun for a while before you start. heat will make it go faster. you can use a hairdryer to help but don't use a heat gun cuz it will blister the paint.
