Question Yukon Denali Chrome side moldings part no?

I picked up an 02 Tahoe LS 2wd in the "ultra-rare" pewter color as a second car a few months ago.

I recently did the Escalade handle switch, the tailgate switch and tore off the hideous black trim from the sides of my 02 Tahoe LS. I do like the truck without the side molding but I do have concerns about door dings and am considering the Denali chrome side moldings. Does anyone have a part number for these? There are very thin and would look great on the Tahoe as opposed to no trim or having my giant ones painted......

I do realize that the trim doesn't come standard but I have seen several Denali's with chrome trim on the doors so they are getting it somewhere. Perhaps it isn't even a GM part.

Many thanks to the great parts list thread, I just didn't see this part no anywhere!

yes, I will post pics when I get hold of these things and get them on!

Next on the list is to have the front bumper cap done. I couldn't figure out a safe way to get the thing off though without tearing apart all the plastic clip things.

the Escalade ones are plastic as well but come painted, I ordered them from gmpartsdirect using the part #'s on the part# thread. The tailgate handle I got off Ebay already painted.

No, i meant the stock handles off your truck, i have seen both textured plastic, and painted handles on tahoes/burbans/avalanches. I was wondering what came on yours stock? I am thinking about tryin to order a set for my sierra from GM already painted to my color if they make them. That or buy a set of painted ones used, and have them sprayed.

the stock ones on the LS are the nasty, pebbley, wax stained, black ones. They really were quite awful.

I got the pic from an Ebay auction. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy is putting them on Denali's for the dealership.

I actually found what I think are the same exact moldings for less than half the price. I ordered them. I will let you guys know how they work out and stuff.

I wonder why only some of them come color matched? It might be included in one of the trim packages or something.

One thing I noticed awhile back (not sure if its still the case or not) is that the SLE on the GMC Yukons have the color matched handles while on a Tahoe, you have to get the LT package to get the painted handles.
