ok so i know this guy with an 03 rcsb W/T so it has the manual windows and locks. I have an 04 rcsb LS so i have power windows and locks. I was thinking about swapping with him to loose a little weight. My question is does anybody know they actual weight difference between a manual door and an electric door? Would it be worth the swap?

I wouldnt. I have manual locks and windows, and the little you would save there wouldnt be worth it unless your going for a full blown track truck.

 

yea thats what i was kinda leaning towards. I took out alot of stuff on this truck but idk if it would be worth the hastle of rolling it down everytime i get in, especially now since i dont have a/c lol

 

Rolling the driver side isnt too bad, but if you want to roll down the pass side it sucks. Or if someone pulls along side you on the pass side and wants to talk, its kinda a pain to lean over and open it.

 

haha yea im not that hardcore yet so ill just stick with the electric ones.
