Do you know if they are doing this BS in the San Diego area? I will be there in November.

Kind of off topic, but heres the reason - you get hurt, badly, and insurance foots the bill. Insurance premiums then rise for everyone. Less injuries in accidents, means lower insurance rates. Its proportional (whether right or not) to insurance costs. And if you dont have insurance, even worse for everyone else. So yes, in the event that you are injured because you werent wearing your seatbelt, it does indeed affect everyone. Again, right or not, thats how it is. You get injured to where you are a vegetable for the rest of your life, who do you think helps to eat that cost of taking care of you forever? Right, me and the rest of the folks out here do.

All I can say, is that I'm glad to live in a backwards *** state, if it keeps my freedoms. I don't even want to get started on my feelings about Cali's legislators, cause I won't be able to stop. All I can say is that I feel for you. We don't even do visuals in La. They are suposed to in 5 parishes thats it, but I live in one of those, and they don't. As long as your turn downs are past your cab and your computer doesnt throw any codes, and the crack in your winshiels is not in the inspectors live of site, you're good to go. Cali's rules=
