Default LS6 GMC Sierra

I helped build my friends truck and got it running not too long ago. Here are his first few runs so far. Question is, should it be running faster with the mods he has? DA at the track that night was 2,104.

Looks like it's running pretty good considering the temps and DA. What was his 60'?

1.888 60ft
no rear suspension mods other than the McGaughny's(*sp) 4/6 drop kit.

Im gonna say its stock weight cause there isnt any real weight reduction mods. Seats are off a TB SS.

We still need to run the exhaust bends after the muffler all the way to the back. We have everything pre bent, just havent had time to take it to a muffler shop. Its no bigger than the guys running 3" dual's.

i just personally think thats still too much xhuast.. dual 3 in or equivalent??.. id still use only a 3inch single with y pipe.. on a 6.0 or dual 2.5 with xpipe to keep some bak pressure to move out faster down low but still get rid of xhaust up on top.. i think u can do better on ur 60' from wut i see in the trak vid... truk pulls nice on top..

not bad at all. with some work on the 60' the truck has some potential. i also agree that the exhaust is too much.

here is an old vid (5+ years) of a n/a 5.7 (ls1).

try some smaller rims (16s) with some small Drag Radials... guarantee you will pick up... that thing needs some GEAR... so try small tires...
like some 255/50/16 i think is what i run

Looking at your 3rd video...... is that Ave 112 in GP? I'm surprised they still run out there with as bad as the po-po started getting about 1 1/2 yrs ago.
