Default Ls1 Intake On A 5.3 ?

I have a 04 chevy with a 5.3 and I have a ls1 intake laying around and I was wondering what do u have to change to put it on and will it even make more power please let me know thanks.

dont do it. its expensive and you will lose power.

What if I put cam in will it still lose power

Not to be rude but, try the search button. You will find many threads on this topic. Cam upgrade or not the intake on the truck is pretty good to start with. Don't waste your time with the LS1 intake unless you want it for looks. Good luck.

Like said, power will not be much different, but it can be done. I do believe how ever you will have to also put a 08 truck water pump on it to clear the TB.
