Well guys time has came to pull out the 350 and replace it with a 08 4.8 but I have a couple of ?? What motor mounts are yall running I been looking at the trans dapt 4592 will these work or is the other ones without be adjustable. .dont see the point in being adjustable also I plan on keeping the factory gauges working any special type of harness I need I was able to get the 4.8 with trans and harness, pcm and pedal for $800 so far these are the questions I have as of now but im sure I will need yalls help down the road

I'm swapping a 6.0 in my 97 now, and I am using dirty ding motor mounts. You can repin your factory harness to the new 411 computer and just add 10 wires for the coils and another for the knock sensors. Also you will need to cut your one big injector plug off and add the 8 injector plug ins. You can still use the drive by cable factor throttle body if you want to also. It's not beat as hard as it sounds, pm lextech if you want more info on the wiring.

 

Well I was planning on using the harness that came with the engine and it will be dbw tb because I have the pcm and everything for it

 

Here is what I did.

Read this over and over again:

Then read the pages in this that correspond to your year donor harness:
Wiring Harness Information

Then read every thread you can possibly find on swaps. Google helps with this. I can share my bookmarks, but I can't from the machine I am on now. PM me tomorrow or late tonight to remind me and I'll post a link to them here.
