Default Lq9 & 241 heads?

I found a good deal on a lq9 but he has 241 heads with it. Do they flow as good as the 317? I know they would bump compression up and I don't know how much or if it would be a good idea anyways considerings it's a lq9 high compression. The cam is a 216/224 also. What do yall think?

if the 241s have the same combustion chamber size as the 243s, which i think they do. the compression ratio will now be about 11:1

11:1 is about as high as you can go on 93 octane safely

i think 317s flow a little better than the 241s

that is also a nice cam, just a bit on the small side for a hi-comp 6.0

The chamber size on 241s is 66.67 and it's 64.45 on 243s

So should I try to sell the 241s and buy 317 or should I just leave them on there?

I would feel more comfortable with the 317's, they do flow better, and just mill the 317's to get the compression up, milling can be done for very cheap, less than $100,

thats my .02
