I just remembered, G.M changed the PCM plugs in 03 to you would have to convert your harness, or as KB said find a bin file from a a GTO... I think it woulld be wise for you to look into to tuning software. a conversion like that would be made much easier if you could turn on/off codes and flash files....

OK, today i made out like a bandit.
I picked up a 2004 model 6.0 complete with every accessory, wiring harness, 2 computers, 2 throttle bodies, all the sensors, and even the covers for $1300. The motor has 35,000 miles on it and is in excellent condition.
I found a 2001 2500 with a cable style throttle body and the computer to match it.
Here are 3 pics of the motor.

This may help someone out with the installation of the cable throttle body on their FBW (Fly By Wire) truck.
The throttle bodies do not just "swap" on. Some modifications had to be made for mine to fit.
The 2004 model CCV (crank case ventilation) hose hooks up on the intake manifold while the 2001 model CCV hose hooks up on the throttle body. The throttle body will not bolt on because the 2 hit eachother. Here is a picture.
Luckly the CCV tube on the cable throttle body can be easily removed and discarded leaving a nice hole that can be easily tapped by a 1/8 NPT pipe thread tap and plugged off.

Does anyone know of a good place for me to send my wiring harness to have it cut down?
I have seen places in the internet that will take a factory wiring harness and cut all the unnecessary emmissions loops out along with anything that does not directly effect the running of the motor. They then ship the harness back to you with one hot to the battery, one keyed ignition hot, and a main ground for an easy installation.
