Bigger hammer.

I smashed my fork with a 15lb sledge to get me free. Worked

Quadruple it and get at it. Bigger hammer, it'll come

Do it cold. Smack the knuckle where the tie rod goes through with a hammer. Should break the bond.

You can wedge a pickle fork in there and pry up at the same time as well.

Loosen the balljoint nut. Do not remove the nut.

Take your BFH and smack the **** out of the side of the spindle at the balljoint area. I mean smack it like Ike smacked Tina smack.

If you support the front on a jack stand and do this, it should pop right loose.

If you already hit it with a pickle fork and heat, then the balljoint is already ruined, so just hit the **** out of the balljoint stud from the bottom and it'll pop right now.

Hitting the spindle is the preferred way if you're going to reuse the balljoint.

This. It'll be noisy and you'll be taking many repetitive strikes until it comes loose, and it'll be abrupt. Keep at least 3-4 threads engaged of the ball joint nut and a jack stand or floor jack about 1/2" below the sprung arm. I generally do this with a standard sized hammer--nothing special. You may not want to do this late at night if you've got sleeping fam/neighbors, and you may want to use ear protection if you've got it since it'll leave your ears ringing.

I don't even own a pickle fork--they're fairly useless to me and do more damage than anything useful.

If you look on the spindle after taking off the wheel bearing and backing plate there is an X marked between the hole for the hub and the lower balljoint. Just hit that X and it pops right out.
