low coolant light is coming on...

Default low coolant light is coming on...

but the temp is fine and there is plenty of coolant, could it be covered in junk and just replaced? what if i did a radiator flush?

yea my truck does the same thing, i went to put coolant in the first time it did it and it was still full

They tend to do it mostly when the summer time comes around. My old 2000 5.3L silverado did it and one of our company work trucks, a 2002 4.3L silverado did it a few weeks ago.
All you have to do is place 1/3 of a gallon of dex-cool into the reservior. Basically your coolant should be 1/2 to 1" above the plastic seem line on your over flow tank.
It will not come back on after that.

just hit the tank once r twice if it get an air pocket sometimes it will do that
