chevy is a cool looking gold thing. ford is a blue oval.
chevy does **** way before other people. independent front suspension first, employee discount first...lots of stuff like that
the word chevy...is much more pleasing than ford...easier to say too
how many people transplant ford into marine and car applications? none.
aftermarket parts = lots more
engines are similar inbetween models...lsx common parts
chevys arent ridiculously ugly like basically all the fords cept possibly the new ones (which are just a bit less grating on the eyes)
chevy rated best hp most of the time with comparable ford models
even if you are an a-hole...if you are sitting in a chevy you dont seem it. in a ford even if you are a nice guy you look like an *******.

lots more. just a short list.

^ Well I guess that can't be scientifically proven but none-the-less I have to agree 100%

ask her why the chevy small block is considered the best v8 engine ever made, also ask her why the majority of nascar likes chevy small blocks. Then ask her why ford doesnt have an equivalent to the chevy small block, then tell her to go repo some more cars or sniff some paint which ever she was doing when she made that assinine statement from a tv commercial.

My uncle has a mid 80s Chevy truck and it probably has 350,000 miles now with no major work. Of coarse things like Alternators, rusted exhaust, water pumps, etc have been done, but to my knowledge the engine has never even been cracked open. I think recently he has had some tranny trouble, but I don't think it was major.

I still have an old 1982 Sierra 6.2L Diesel. 262k miles and it still runs, still has a/c AND it has outlasted any stock for stock ford that i kno of... there are few fords out there that are 20+ years old who havent had major work or replacement done... like a new tranny or engine, lol.

Okay... umm well that doesnt make any sense.. if the 03's are longer lasting... than wouldnt it take more than 2 years to determine that? Tell her to give you a call in 20 years, lol.

This is a quote from her. "well I have great looking Silverados but they all have Steering bushing problems" "Ever since they started putting all that fancey stuff in there" She did say my truck was one of the longest lasting.... I told her that my truck (see sig) has the same power plant and tranny that the 00-05 maybe even 06 has. thats when the above comments came out.
