Default Love GM BUT

I have to give kudos to dodge! Just saw the new dakota R/T...Pretty sweet little ride! Just too bad GM is too panzy assed to do some creative things like dodge. GM products ARE a lot easier and cheaper to build up, as far as power goes and I know will last a lot longer than dodges! But dodge does put hemi's in their rcsb trucks where GM dare not put a LQ9 in one. Dodge does have all the R/T vehicles - Rumble bees - Daytona's - rcsb rt10 along with the quad cab. Like said before, just too bad GM is scared to do fun little projects as those! OK....Feel better!

You do have a point, Fellow294, but I think GM has the better marketing plan. Most drivers do not care about specialty vehicles like SRT's, R/T's, SS's, Rumble Bee's, Joe Gibbs, Daytona's, etc. These type of vehicles do not sell as well compared to "average" trim models. Sometimes car companies lose money on special, high performance vehicles.

I agree and it is unfortunate. Most specialty vehicles are produced for the purpose to draw attention to the company and especially at shows. That is why they build "prototypes" that look good but nothing works at all. Interiors are sometimes painted cardboard in places. They have no intention of actually building some of those cars. It gives them a reason for a magazine to show their name. Now a 16cyl Cadillac for example. Do you actually think they are going to put that into production? No.
Also to add...Joe Gibbs Performance went belly up after only 2 years of production.

But they could do a LITTLE something! Put a damn lq9 in a rcsb truck...its not a damn srt10 - but it would be fun! They may not make a lot of money at it but at least their showing a little creativity! Boost the base power of the 5.3 up...Build a little tougher tranny! something!! Come out with a limited edition with some nice...fun...options. I know its always nice to build it up yourself because there is more satisfaction in it...but I am looking at it as trying something different...being creative! GM has a wonderful product...just build on it

Even Toyota is sticking their 5.7Ltr 381hp engine in the new RCSB Tundra.

Rumble bee? Daytona? Dodge can keep the tape stripe hotrods.

Oh but if Toyota is doing a rcsb 5.7L then I may be looking hard at the new/ugly Tundra.

I know they are just sticker options that jack the price up by 5 grand...but like said before...its the creativity and doing something different...throwing a little something into the market besides the same old truck...
