Default lost power FOUND!

yesterday noticed my batt gauge on the cluster takes dives above 3k rpm... but for the last 3weeks I have been feeling a bit down on power, thus me ordering a stall converter, to pep things up. Even thought since I put my bigger 285/50s back on they were heavier than my 295/45s were, but the truck was tune with the 285s. Long story short ran the truck 2days with dead alternator, batt was on 10v today, when I replaced the alternator, cause my store was closed on weekend. Got a 130 amp ac delco unit, to replace the 105 junk. Jumped off the truck once there, and its been good to go. Voltage is about 15.5 or higher, almost 16 on the stock cluster.

But just my current back from the alternator woke my truck the smack back up! OMG its a different truck, more like it ran when I got it back from the tuner. I just knew I was down on performance but who knew that much... thought I needed a tuneup or something, plug cat or so. But I know now. My MAF, and Injectors were prob out of operating range as well. Truck is so sensitive to the pedal now, and timing kicks quick.

Im really anxious to put on the stall and headers this week with the retune. Even though now I feel I dont need them... Should be a beast! Especially with my electrical back correct. IMO just wanted to share, so people are aware.

That is always a great feeling when you find the problem. Finding it is the frustrating part.
