losing faith......

ok, here goes.....I have an 07 silverado z71 crew cab. it's lovely, couldn't ask for a better truck. well, at around 5000 miles, i started hearing a noise coming from my A-pillars. a rattling sound, like bugs or rain is hitting the windshield, constantly. very annoying. went on vacation with the noise, came back, and then brought it in at around 7500 miles. they stated the sound as coming from the two pieces of weatherstrip on both sides of the windshield. they replaced them. not even a week later, it's starting again. also my a/c vent rattles when it's on high. my radio is playing clear, then all of a sudden gets muffled when i turn a corner or something......i'm quickly losing faith in my chevy and i hate to say that.......anyone else with an 07 having any problems like this??? why the hell would this problem continue with brand new strips on it?? of course the service dept. will fix the problems. just aggravating that i have to keep going back over there and that these problems even exist right now. and why my weatherstips are messing up again. any advice or anything would help. thanks.

my windwshield stripping on my 2004 tahoe made some horrible windnoise when i bought it used. they replaced the whole thing all the way around and it fixed it right up. maybe they should replace the whole thing not just the two pieces. on the radio try turning off you, well i forgot the name of it but the setting that makes it get louder when you speed up and lower when you slow down. turn it to off and try it and see if it helps any if so adjust the sensitivity of it.

well i reread it and you said muffled. dumb question but are you sure your not useing you knee to brace when you turn and covering the speaker. i tend to do that in my car. just try paying attention when you turn and see if you are.

thanks for all the advice. I thought of the adhesive but don't think I should have to do that on a brand new truck. I'm not too happy. I am bringing it in again, but how many times do I have to bring the **** in before they get it right?? getting a little frustrating. No, i'm not covering the speakers when I turn. It does it at different times, kinda odd......it's not the automatic volume control thing. it's like it loses radio signal slightly or something. i'm not sure. i'ma get them to check it out. it is a nice truck though, and other than these problems, I love it. looks great too.
