Do you have Sirrus or regular radio? Have you upgraded the speakers inside? Have you upgraded the head unit? These problems are pretty small when you really think about it. Come on your complaining about rattling A/C vents Yea the stuff is annoying but the negative comments from people really aren't justified. Would you rather your truck break a cam shaft or spit fire out of the exhaust?

i have that noise in the ac also, i also have a powersteering problem when going in and out of parking lot spaces.
all these little things dont bother me so much anymore like they use to when i had previous years that were brand new. i'm not loosing faith, i'm GM and always will be when it comes to trucks.

Agreed, but I think once you get the kinks out it will be a damn good truck

very true....once the kinks are worked out it will be a damn good truck. but my point is, it is a BRAND NEW TRUCK I am paying $30,000+ for, so I shouldn't have "kinks" to work out. I will still always be a GM man, but I'm just a little dissappointed this time with all the problems. hopefully they fix it this time and its done so I can enjoy my truck. no, I have not replaced the radio in it. it is the regular factory radio that came in it, no XM or Sirrius. I do not have a classic, it's the new style. I'm not downtalking Chevy at all, like I said, just asking if anyone else has the problems or knows of a permanent fix because they've dealt with it before. thanks for all the comments though.

I've come to the conclusion that the guys who do the torture testing with the pre-production test trucks must be deaf and numb all over and almost legally blind. I mean the flapping windshield weatherstrip has been a problem since the '99 new body style came out 9 years ago.

Does the steering shaft rattle yet?

I got my truck back from the dealer yesterday for the center underseat storage latch that broke. I only opened the storage 3 times before it broke. We'll see how it holds up this time. lol.

Other than that, I don't have some of the bugs that others have stated. I do have a small rattle thru the A/C vent on high, but I rarely drive with it on high anyways, in my RCSB it gets too cold. I'm not loosing faith in Chevy though, especially after this past Monday. There is no way in hell I could have avoided that wreck in my old 04 GMC Sierra or my fiance's 06 Silverado Z71.

mine works way better than stock, with a tune
only annoyances...
efans loud, and hvac controls on a ltz suck
they did cheapout on some stuff too, if you stand on the door sill to wash to roof, feels like they are going to collapse, rest a wash rag on the roof and it might cave in.
the "boxed" frame is made of tinfoil and to me is less stiff than my 04, freeway
expansion joints taken at speed really upset the chassis, i don't recall if it did that
before i lowered it and changed the wheels and tires but my 04 with the same stuff
didn't behave the same way.
but i still like it and is better than other options, tundra is probably a good rig but i still like GM
