Default Looking for a Truck

Well, I might have totalled my 02 s-10 yesterday. pictures here if you are interested. pictures

I would like to either stay with the s-10 line, or move up to a sierra or silverado. I would prefer a v-8 5 speed. I found a 2003 sierra with a 4.3 v-6 and a 5 speed. Any comments on this truck. they are asking 12999 and it has just shy of 40k on the odometer.

Thanks in advance
Russell

You can get some v8s around that price if you look some more. There have been a few on some of the forums for that price and had a good many mods to them. What exactly are you looking for? Ext cab, reg cab, sportside, fleetside, etc

Yup it's the truck in the sig. after a new tranny or whatever is wrong with it it will be fine has a 100k engine warranty also. if you don't like the paint it wouldn't cost much to make it all the same color. Doubt you want to buy a truck with a single problem so i don't blame ya just thought i'd throw it out there. btw that 03 you were talking about for 13k is way to much.

thanks for the input....don't take it as me knocking your truck. its a good combo. The KBB is actually 14 on the truck. I wouldn't give them anything more than 10k. I hope to have 3k to put down. I definately wont have anything less than 1k. plus, My credit union gives me a 4.9 percent interest rate

If you're gonna get a fullsize go ahead and get a v8. I get the same mileage as the v6 with my 4.8 and I have the 3.73 gears as well. A v8 accepts mods a lot easier too. JMO
