oh i stumbled on this in the last hour of the auction. i wasnt even supposed to be looking since i just got my cam and springs and was pretty much out of money, but i would be an idiot to pass up this deal.

theres a dyno at Haddad motorsports in inglewood. i think its 75 bucks for 3 pulls.

I dont see what the big deal is about this intake it does NOT flow hardly any more then the stock truck intake. Richard at WCCH flowed a bunch of intakes a while back and it bairly beat out the SSR intake and quite a bit less then the LS6 intake almost across the board. Even though it has a 90mm flange it necks down inside just like a regular truck intake.

i know i saw that thread. im shipping it to vmax motorsports in florida. they are going to port the intake, and do work on the throttle body, and ill have flow numbers for it. ill keep everyone posted.

ive been corrected. pete at vmax has explained everything to me. since i have a 5.3, i wont need to port the manifold to make the chambers bigger, because the engine is too small to demand that much air. were looking for velocity not volume. also we were talking about the 90mm throttle body, and how it might be too big. again, velocity not volume. the more air i can push in there faster, the better. so the plan for right now is to keep the tbss manifold stock, and buy a 78mm custom throttle body from pete. so if anyone needs a DBW 90mm i have one for sale.
