Little help with my new 2500HD?
I just bought a 2004 2500HD LS 4x4 w/6.0L. It has what Chevy calls a HD 4 speed auto. Exactly what transmission is this? And, what is the standard 4 speed auto? I heard some rumors about piston slap in the 6.0 motor, but mine has no sign of it yet, at what mileage does this usually start? Are there any problems with the tranfer cases or any of the 4wd equipment on these trucks? I'm sure you all get alot of questions like these, but I used the search and couldn't really find the right info. Thanks for any help.
