Default list of tools and parts to take to drag week

after talking it over with the guys that are going with it looks like i am going to be draging my car trailer behind my truck. this will work well for a few reasons. first being if i break we will have a trailer to drag the truck home with. 2nd is when we get to the track we will just have to unhook and run. 3rd is i will be able to bring ANYTHING i want.

that ANYTHING part is where things get interesting. we will bring lots of tools, probably a generator and welder, some work lights, floor jack, jack stands, head gaskets.

what else? we are thinking about bringing a stock 4l80e, and a front and rear along, maybe a rear drive shaft, maybe the stock 4.8. there will be about 18hours or so to work on the truck if something major broke. i am going to goto the junk yard and see if they will lend me some parts, you never know.

anyone think this would be poor sportsman ship? it is clearly within the rules but maybe not what they had in mind.

i am going to make some big list of things to take with. anyone have any sugestions of what to take along?

Common hardware and fasteners used throughout your truck might be a good idea.

I would love to see the faces on the competition when they see you with an engine hoist pulling your motor in the hotel parking lot. Sounds like you are going to have some great fun! Best of luck to you

Does anyone else see the humor here?

He is towing his tools and spare parts with the truck he is racing...Now if that is not cool, I dont know what is....Most people Tow the car they are racing!
