Lets end the weight misconception

I believe alot of people like to throw the heavy weight out there to try to impress people. "Yeah, my 5500lb brick went 14.5. Yeah, I'm making a ton of power, just think how fast I would be if I only weighed 4000lbs like some of you lightweights."LOL. Thats just how some people come across. Some people swear their truck weighs 7000lbs, when in reality its more like 4500.

The biggest factor is probably the physical size of a truck. It's hard to believe it only weighs 500lbs more than a GTO when it physically takes up a lot more space. But you gotta remember that the back half of the truck is basically nothing

Trucks are definitely heavier, and don't distribute weight anywhere close as a car (in most cases anyways haha).

i know this thread is like beating a dead horse. but someone told me a while ago that going from 3rd to 4th door was and extra 100lbs. i dont know if thats true or not.
i think people would be surprised at how much the little stuff adds up.
