Default Mirror Moving On Its Own

I noticed yesterday and today that my driver's side mirror was out of adjustment. I figured maybe the car wash yesterday moved the mirror. This morning I adjusted it before leaving for work.

When backing into my parking spot today, I observed the driver's side mirror moving without any interaction from me.

Here is what I know:
I did not bump/touch the mirror adjustment button(s)
I DO have the PASSENGER side mirror adjust when the truck is put in reverse but NOT the driver's side.

For some reason the Driver's side is moving. I am also not pressing any of the seat memory buttons.

I'm really confused by this and I'm sure it will be pretty hard for the dealership to diagnose this.

Anyone else have this issue?

It really depends on how the truck is equipped and if any of the parts have been replaced.

Shouldn't be to hard to diagnose.

It, Might need a new mirror or Possibly to have the software re flashed.

The truck is an SLT with about every option, picked it up in October. Hasn't been to the dealership since I left the lot. I'm due for my first service in a few weeks.

Might need a software update. Or possibly a part to be replaced.

I have to move my mirrors manually like a animal, but once i started the truck and the ac would not come on, the lights behind the ac controls were not on. shut the truck of and back on and all was fine.

on another occasion the back-lights for the gauge cluster and the little screen did not come on, functioning fine but not lit up... shut the truck off and back on and all was well

I think if i brought that story to the dealership they would tell me to get fucked

to the OP, sounds like there might be an internal short in the switch. you try unplugging it?

could also be that your truck is possessed!

I haven't tried messing with the switch or anything. I figured for a truck at less than 6 months old and with a sticker of over $51k, the dealership can mess with it.

I'm being an old man on this one, they can deal with it lol. I was hoping there was a TSB I could reference on it. We will see, normally this dealership treats me pretty well.

Driver 1 and Driver 2 settings are controlled also by your RKE fobs. You probably need to do some more setup work.

I only use the same fob, every day.

Yes, and every time you unlock the doors with your remote, the mirrors will move to the positions set for that fob. Which may be different from your other fob, and different from the buttons on your door panel switch.
