L33 vs LM7

Default L33 vs LM7

what is the difference?

i know one is the 5.3(lm7) 99to02 moddles and L33 came in 03(vho 5.3)

correct me if im wrong.
anyways what are the major if any differences between the two

L33 was xcab 05 4x4 only
L33 aluminum block different heads,pistons,cam,higher compression,tune
what am i missing?


Maybe not 05 only,do they put them in the trailblazers ect.? did the first SSRs get them?

trailblazer and ssr got the LM4, not an L33. the L33 didn't replace the LM7 either. that's still available. the L33 is 05' and newer and extended cab 4x4 1500 only. the L33 has an aluminum block, better heads, bigger cam, more compression, etc. much more room for future mods.
