Default kills for today

The truck was running good today and I needed to take my mind off some bs. I pulled up to an older model lexus sc400 (or 300 never really saw the back) looked like late 90's I could tell the guy was going to punch it at the light. light turned and my slow as foot kicks in again but even with the bad start and him a half car length ahead of me I still pulled him by the time I reached 35 I was a 1/4 of a car on him at about 50 the road started uphill slightly and he was toast. I could tell he was pissed. Later I went ricer hunting and found one of those 3.0 accords with the huge dual 4" exhausts, dropped and rims. I pull up next to the guy "Is that the 3.0- yes -how does it run -its pritty quick - ok lets see how it does against my 5500 pound ext cab z71 truck" once again the other guy got the light he was a 1/8 of a car ahead up to about 50 when he looks over and notices Im pulling ahead and he backs off and turns. the only mods Ive done are aem intake, 50 flow and nelson tune. I give the accord a win (I was really suprised how this truck hung with it and would have pulled ahead) but the lexus got demolished, I cant wait for my trans-go and 3000 stall (**** off torque managment) .

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of rice I should fear no evil for torque is on my side

good stuff

sounded like fun. wish i could get more encounters like that around here.

i got the TC just for that purpose. i haven't had much opportunities to get my $$$ worth. but the yank3000 is very fun to drive. it pins you back in your seat when you launch from a complete stop. make sure you have posi, or else it sucks. i still break tires loose with the posi, but not as bad as with the open differential. 4WD launches are fun, but i always worrying about breaking stuff. i've replaced u-joints and transfer case driveshaft seals already because of hard launches

The kenne Bell S/C is excellent for kills, even with an almost dead cylinder 7! A honda accord with a fart can decided to plan games yesturday. Off the line my truck nailed it so hard I started to see them in my rear view mirror. After reaching 80mph and still 2 car lengths ahead, I gave up since I have to preserve whats left of a bad cylinder 7. Can't wait until the 6L swap.

Im going to try! I would probably go for the lower compression 6L and that would be perfect for the KB. But im also thinking of the STS turbo. What are your thoughts??
