Keep my extended cab or get a regular cab

My 6,000 lb Avalanche, that is 18.5 feet long, handles like a sports car. It tooks some mods, but I did the research and took my time and in the end it was well worth it. My suggestion is to keep your truck and ask around about suspension mods. Be intelligent when you do your suspension work and I would be that you'll end up very happy. Then, once you get your truck handling well, with your left over cash that you would have spent on the new truck, you can get some more power with a cam and heads, a blower, or a bigger motor.

that certainly is a sonoma gt. i sold it this past summer to a guy looking to restore one. it was build number 454. man, it sure was a fun street racer and did ok at the track too.
the main idea behind the regular cab isn't just the handling abilities, it's the amount of power it takes to run a good number. the lighter it is, the less he'll have to spend on mods to run the faster time.

He said he wanted something that handles, and my point was that he can make his present truck handle better with just a few mods, and save hiim from selling and buying and all that. But then in his original post he says he wants to go fast, too. Sounds like he has some thinking to do before he makes any decisions.
