Well in order to get my TBS and K&N FIPK to work together I had to cut the lip on the K&N tube in order to get it to clear the fan. Well it worked great for about 2 months until a few days ago it started sliding off and hitting the fan also creating an air leak. So to day I finally had it I yanked the damn thing off and modded my stock air tube for the time being until I can fab my custom intake tube using a larger diameter of PVC tubing. Just pisses me off because I screwed up my tube. Oh well I'll have more air with the larger tube. Anyone fabbed their own intake tube. Pics would be great.

should of taken the throttle body spacer off for the K&N install and left it off, unless you noticed any performance gains.

 

I did notice a nice gain with them together. There hadn't been that many guys that I knew of that had tried it so I figured I'd give it a try.

 

go to lanes in irving and have him make you a mandral 4" tube for your intake. bigtex did i believe (he has something like that atleast) and i'm going to go over there and pick the one he made for me up one of these days.
