Default Just had Intralasic surgery in Plano

Hey guys, I have been gone for a few days to Plano for Lasic surgery but I'm back now. If anybody has any questions about it just post them here. I was very skeptical but so far so good. I was a -7 in each eye whatever that means. I couldn't see anything without contacts. Now I can see almost perfect. He said I would need another operation in a few months to make it perfect. If anybody is interested I can post all kinds of information about it including what they don't mention on the radio. I will be going back for a check up on Thursday so if anything is going on in the DFW area please let me know.

Is it a walk-in/walk-out sort of operation? Are your eyes senstive to light at all? How did you go about picking a doctor?

It is walk in walk out but since they give you some drugs you can't drive home. I went to Booth because I always hear about it on the radio. It is like an assembly line in there. They must make millions of dollars a year. My eyes are sensitive to lights, and I see a blur around them. It really costs about 3-4k for the average person who sees bad enough to need it. What they don't tell you is they make a round incision in your cornea to get to your retina. It takes about 2 weeks for it to significantly heal so you can't touch your eyes or it might rip. It takes 2 months to fully heal. I would tell more but I have to go to work. If anyone has anymore questions let me know. I would recommend it to anyone even though it is more expensive and risky than they say on the ads.

I heard that even though your eye sight is corrected, your eye sight will eventually go bad again.
