i've never really watched any of the surgeries on tv and what-not but today i went back to my knee doctor for my first visit since the surgery last wednesday and he gave me a set of pictures and a cd with a video and pictures of the surgery on it. if you've never seen how things work when they do a surgery like a miniscalectamy or whatever it was. basically they cut out 2 large pieces of cartlidge and cut a torn ligament out and replaced it. it looks like they're cutting meat at a proscessing plant or something.....

atleast i didn't post the pics....but like i said it's not really goory at all, just looks really harsh how they do it.

 

i know how you feel. been there. had mine rebuilt about 4 years ago. give it about 2 years and you wont even notice. i do everything i did before. didnt think i would after the surgery but hey, my buddy calls me the bionic man.
