Default Just bought an 05 Z71

I got a good deal for being up here. I walked out with it for 25k and change plus my being under on my truck. The thing that sucked was my 04' dropped down in value bad. An 05' RCSB LS w/ a 5.3 is going for around 17k. So you can imagine my value. All in all I am happy, payment went up a little because of my trade in and no money down. Sticker on the truck was 36k and change. I am going to miss my Corsa sport so bad. To bad it wouldnt fit on the Ext Cab. There are some really good deals out there right now.

Nice! Congrats! I have an 05 ECSB GMC Z71 with the 3.42's and G80. My last truck was an 02 Chevy ECSB 2500HD 4x4 with 4.10's. I don't really miss the 4.10's THAT much, it would be nice, but this truck has at least as much get up and go as my 2500HD. Besides, a 4.10 gear swap is only about 800 bucks away.
I had the same problem with finding a truck with all that I wanted AND 4.10's. Oh well, the long trip highway mileage is great!

Sweet, yea there are some great deals out there. I seen $22,500 on a 05 crew cab, loaded with leather and all. Thats damn fine...

GM is hurting right now, I heard they are going to lay off 30k workers. They gotta lot of vehicles sitting on lots thats for sure..

I am happy now. I just averaged 20.4 MPG on a 70mi drive. I was driving 70-80mph the whole time. I am starting to like these 3.42's. I am about to put my volant on. I guess the 04 to 05 should fit. I will know soon enough.

Congrats on the new ride. I like mine. I agree on the deals, I'm shopping for a new 2500 crew Dmax. Hell with 10k off its too good to pass up.
