my 02 silverados 4l60 is doing this gear jumping thing.low speed and on the highway when i get on the gas it jumps from gear to gear and the rpms go up and down as it jumps .but some times it takes off fine with no problem....help me before it ends up at the tranny shop...

 

This should probably be in the drivetrain forum. I am occasionally having a similar issue when pulling away from a stop. I am going to replace my 1-2 accumulator and forward accumulator with the updated aluminum units. The factory ones are plastic and tend to crack. I am by no means tranny savy but Vince from FLT often chimes in on the drivetrain forum.
