I got new orders! To jacksonville FL for AM school for about 3 months, then to mayport for duty. Im so pumped

Jacksonville is a fun city to be in. Lots of bars, strip clubs and great weather. we used to do our carrier quals from there. ahhh, nothing like being hung over and walking up to an aircraft to sniff some oxygen to make you feel better.

I was an AMS( aviation mechanic structural ) a few years ago. Went to Millington Tn. for A school, Then was stationed at Cecil field Jacsonville. Shore based sea duty aboard USS Nimitz, S3 -A Squadron VS-24 .Have fun I always wanted to work on helos.

 

I just left the chucky v (CVN-70) a few days ago, and belive me I know the feeling

Thats cool, Im going to report to HSL-46 after my schooling. Most likley I will be on FFG, CG or DDG, wich is cool. Since I have already been on a carrier.

 

I am missing Jax big time right now. It's c-c-c-cold up here!
