need to know... I am thinking it's 2.5, but something is telling me it could be 2"...
what is it????

no, stock is 2.75"

at least for my 04 it is, but i assume it is same for 01

i thought that it was 2.25" from the cats until it gets to the y-pipe and turns to 3".

My 2000 Silverado and My 2005 Silverado both 2.75 after Y-Pipe. I'm not sure the size of the Y-Pipe but it does look to be 2.25?

ok duh!!!!!!!
I forgot I had a set of stock manifolds in the garage....
ID is 2.5...
this is before the cats, and was what I was looking for....
