whats the biggest and best intake tube out there!! i really need to do the custom ramair ive drawn up but its costly!! And if you could post me a link up

yea but if im going to fab up a tube ill just take that effort and put towards my ramair!

I had the AEM intake, it was about a 4 inch tube.. I also have(I think) a 4 inch polished aluminum tube that would work good for a intake..

Heres a simple drawing of the way i would like to do my intake


All 4" piping, but i still would need a spot for a filter when driving on the street. I thought about getting a stock ford truck filter assembly since its round and has in inlet and outlet for tubing. but i would need to enlarge one end of it.

thats about what the newer ram-air kit, that vara ram came out with.

Actually I had alot of tuning issues when I did my ram-air... It caused BIG lean/rich spikes when I let off the throttle, due to air flowing over the MAF but not going into the engine..... I have read a couple more instances of this on EFILive forum.... This is why turbos have a BOV before the MAF.... From what I have read you never want air blowing on the MAF when the TB is closed....

yes but i dont like how they put the MAF mounting to the throttlebody i lost 3 tenths when i had something like that from timing being pulled

hmmm.. i'll have to look into it a little more with all the f-body guys. alot of them run a ramair kit like the FTRA, SSRA, or JAAM
