A Tb Stall Is Fine Unless U Want To Go Ball Out. I Am Now Running A 3600 Stall And 4.56 Gears With Thewhen I Had The 5.3 And The 3000 Stall I Was Cutting Some 1.64 60' Times So Yes A Tb Stall Will Help U But U Can Go Get All Of It And Put Vertter And Gears.

I Don't Care For The Tb Stall I Had One And Move On Alot Of People Like Them I Don't I Feel In Alot Of Cases It Leaves Alot Of Improvement Still Their To Get That You Will Not Get Out Of A Custom After Market Vertter

Why are you shifting with a light if your in an automatic and on top of it you say your shifting around 6900 rpms. I know for a fact that the cam your using the power starts falling off around 6000 rpms with the stock top end in a 5.3. Ive lost et. by taking my motor well out of the power band like your doing, the shifting thing doesnt explain anything.

I really hope you ran those time NA but I seriously dont believe you did it with just what info you are divulging.

Ive seen some very stealthy Nitrous setups where youd practicly have to take stuff apart just too see it.

GRAPHS OF you spraying it Im sure, but regardless your tellin me that with a cam in the 220 range on a 112 your making peak power at 7k rpms. The more you talk the more my suspicion is confirmed.

To run that time in the 1/4 your 1/8 would be around 8.01 based off your et flywheel power would be around 440 for a 4500 lb truck
440 * .2 = 88 drive train loose
440-88=352 rwhp thats one hell of a miracle cam you got there
now spraying a 75 shot I can see it but not NA

too many people run cams almost identical to that one for you to be 1+ second quicker

I ran my 12.80 pass with stock injectors on my 5.3 also. And I still have stock injectors on my 6.0. Wonder If I need to step up my injector size?

I believe Randy is telling the truth. Compare his 1.65 60' to my 1.72 and his 12.59 to my 12.81. Like the old saying goes, "one tenth on the 60' is two tenths on the big end". Like Randy mentioned, there is also a 4.8 with cam only, headers, and converter, with tuning shifting at 7,000 ran 13.51 which is very respectful. Southern boys got some fast trucks.

I dont doubt he ran that time at all what I doubt is that he did it NA with only a cam.
