All you should need is the complete console form a 99-02 truck or tahoe and the glove box piece that is molded to flow with the contour of the console. This part isnt necessary but will give it a stock finished look.

That glove box part isn't needed at all, UNLESS you are installing a Denali console (in which case you would need the Denali glove box/lower panel) OR you are installing an '03+ glove box

for a 99-02 console in a 99-02 truck - all you need is the center console.

Um what? Yes you need the glovebox even for a 99-02 if you're doing the full console and don't half *** it. The 99-02 glove boxes are 2 pieces and I guess technically you not use the 2nd piece but it would look shitty.

2 pieces? What are you talking about?
I have installed an extra cab console in my truck before and I have a Denali console in it currently. I know what I'm talking about.

what he's trying to say is you need these two parts if you do a 03 up in a 99 to 02 the bolster and the glovebox

All of them I've seen have 2 pieces. The lower dash below the radio is different on trucks that didn't come with full consoles.
